eww gross!

Man! Homeschooling is fun! Did you know that when you get a cut... your blood dripping out of your wound is sending platelets in to clog up your cut and webby stuff called Fibrin forms that traps up the helper red and white blood cells that go to work repairing and eating up germs (the white ones do the eating) and then, under that scab, new skin forms tightening up under the scab so eventually the scab falls off. AND did you know that big strong construction dudes who leave their tools lying around get really squeamish when the kid who lives in the house they are working on comes around the corner licking his bloody hand (fake blood-made with corn syrup, red food colouring and chocolate)... We love the gross practical jokes around here! The body has some pretty good gags to take advantage of!!! When we are done making scabs and blood we will move on to the digestive system-hmmm Which unsuspecting family member will get the puke gag? ....mwahhahahah....

the best part of that post was jack's spiderman chef suit. had i known that existed earlier i would have asked to borrow it for tonight's iron chef contest with the youth... dang. that would have been good. sorry it didn't work out on tuesday too. a series of miscommunications/no communication... i have a crazy crazy weekend but we should make a date soon. love you.

Tasty!!!Wow - what great homeschooling lab experiments you've come up with!!!

perhaps the hobit in me is from the Irish part - definately not from the Italian mafia side...i want a grass roof - well really i want earth, to grow a garden on my roof - wild flowers or something. and yes i will be taking pics of that bike cemetary..theres so much grass that has entangled itself, it's hard to get a good look...like bikes drowning in weeds.
