Decorating our 6 foot douglas fir

1. First you must find the perfect tree, one that will fit in your space (ours is very limited) and not drop too many needles (choking hazard) and has plenty of space underneath for many gifts -also be sensible about where you look, especially when outdoor temperatures dip below -30...

2. Invite a special friend over to help decorate the tree and ask them to bring supplies that you are missing (Tape)

3. Locate your Christmas ornaments (we printed shapes off the internet onto construction paper, then added colour and glitter and patterned paper to personalize) I especially like this rosy cheeked star by Solomon...

4. Hang your ornaments on the best branches to maximize visibility and enjoyment of each one. Keeping in mind symmetry and balance, get help for the high up branches. Stand back to admire often and adjust spacing where necessary.
Where young babies are a concern leave the bottom branches free of anything with cotton balls that may be ingested...
