A Good Good Friday.

Yesterday I had a "day off". A day to do whatever I wanted without any kid or house responsibilities. I started by taking Solomon to tim hortons and picking up a snack and beverages to take to Cory and Amanda's. I got a tour of their "new" house that I haven't visited yet. (very cute and perfectly decorated) Then I dropped off the boy at his grandparents to go to the lake with them. I was treated to gourmet omelets at my sister and brother-in-laws home and then had the opportunity to share in the making of the needle felted penguin kit that Aleksa gifted Tiffany for Christmas...

I gotta say I am probably addicted to a new and wonderfully satisfying craft! I see so many possibilities for gifts, toys, sculptural artistic expression, school props and extensions of theme units... not to mention my desire to tell everyone who will listen what a fantastic feeling it is to needle felt a penguin! or anything...


I finished off my day with a girly movie with my BFF, Belinda. It was a fantastic day.
