August was...

Besides entering on-line contests... and NOT winning anything. August was...

1. learning to ride on two wheels, and getting a new bike and helmet (no pictures of the new bike as it defies shutter speed.)

2. baking crazy beer bread, among other basic daily baking...

3. Discovering musical genius,

4. Haircuts at Todd's,

5. Visiting friends from far-away places (Asia (photo), from Victoria and her Dad, Patrick from Australia. And, Savannah and her mom Marnie, from the UK)

6. Looking for trees and playing Marco-Polo at the property in Cook's Creek,

7. Visiting baby Ella Faith (and sewing a boobie hider for her mommy)

8. Beaching with Vieira's,

And now we are getting back into school mode...
Solomon's project is a quick dry clay model of a cat to go along with our Wild Cat theme. And Ephraim is working on numbers with Acorns. We are going today to collect Acorns at the park and plan to do some crafty things with them in the coming days. stay tuned!
