We spent a great day on the Red with Papa and Nana, fishing. This was my first time fishing in Dad's element. It was great! From the moment we cast out our worm bits, we were pulling in the goldeye. We took home 36 goldeye (yet to be smoked) and had a few nibbles on our catfish line, but nothing to the boat... too bad, it is still my "fisherwoman" dream to catch one of those monsters! Granted my "career" as a fisherwoman is very nearly non-existent!
The boys were surprisingly content for the many hours on the boat and for every fish Jack threw into the live-well, there was cheering and excitement.
We look forward to our next adventure in Papa's boat!
