Party! Party!

Abundantly happy, and secure...

Tangerines with leaves intact assure that one's relationship with the other remains secure, and tangerines are a symbol of abundant happiness.

Every one was a good sport and tried the unusual birthday feast that was lovingly prepared by the Daddy and Mommy... We felt very authentic, we made chicken balls, sweet and sour sauce from scratch, rice, and steamed dumplings.

Here is a photo of the Chicken Balls, and the super cool spaceship steamer that we received as a gift from Lynn and Alan for Christmas... It intimidated us at first but after using it today, I feel like it may be getting a place of honour and be a most used appliance in our home!

A few crafts we made, some Chinese new year booklets, some dancing dragon puppets and we painted our names in Chinese lettering...

Jack expresses gratitude for great gifts with a tight-Kung-fu-hug-tackle-hold...
