Our reality is hitting us, after a huge business financial loss (thanks to the tool trailer getting lifted by thieves along with $20,000 of tools) We are thinking our new property will sooner have us homesteading if we adjust our dreams a little...

I don't think it's such a terrible idea. =) Plus, you could re-sell the trailer in Fort McMurray for double the price! lol
And...I can picture a lil' outdoor kitchen/classroom, too...

Hi Tami! This is Brennan Cattani's sister Bria. My husband and I want to homestead up north and we are figuring we will have to start out in a trailer (or a yurt). I have a vision of a nice log cabin style house but I know that won't happen for some time. Good luck to you guys and your homesteading dreams!
