Mike has been gifted a good pair of binoculars for his birthday... I was somewhat shocked by the range of possibilities for what one can spend on a pair of binoculars!
However they have come into the family none too soon.
We have a amateur eye to the sky every time we are out, and Jack has already spotted a couple bald eagles IN THE CITY! and we have a red tail hawk living close to the property, Mike spotted a merlin falcon (we could be wrong with our identifications) and I am a bigger fan of spotting the little song birds and ducks...
I am so excited about this spring time family activity! We will keep you posted when we find something interesting!
